Software Engineer – C++

Hybrid – Bristol

£45-50k

Mid-level Embedded C++ Software Engineer required to develop and maintain software for an edge device that forms part of a software system. You will design, implement and focus maintain C++ software running on Linux. Along with duties such as develop and integrate communication protocols such as CAN and Modbus and contribute production quality code across the full development lifecycle

Skills and experience required to gain an interview are...

• Professional experience as an embedded software engineer
• Strong commercial experience developing in C++
• Solid experience working with Linux based systems
• Practical knowledge of communication protocols, i.e.. CAN and Modbus
• Confident use of Git for version control
• Python xkybehq – nice to have
