Test Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced Test Engineer to join a high-performing software delivery team working on secure, mission-critical systems across the defence, intelligence, and cyber sectors.

This hybrid role with opportunities available in Gloucester or Manchester.

Key responsibilities include:

• Creating and maintaining automated test frameworks
• Defining and managing test environments, data, and tools
• Producing test plans, deployment strategies, and reports
• Raising and managing defects through to resolution
• Writing and maintaining automated and manual test scripts
• Supporting Agile software teams in delivering secure, high-quality solutions

What we’re looking for:

• Experience working in Agile / Scrum / DevSecOps environments
• Experience deploying and configuring complex software on Linux / Windows
• Strong understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle and testing methodologies
• Experience producing test documentation and reports
• Current DV clearance is essential with eligibility for eDV Clearance

Desirable experience:

• Test automation frameworks and scripting/automation languages
• AWS and/or Azure
• Continuous Integration / CI pipelines
• Linux system administration
• Monitoring, logging, and performance testing tools
