Location: London Defence & Government

We're looking for an experienced Cyber Security Assurance Manager to support security assurance across secure networks, cloud environments and UK Defence projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for a GRC-focused cyber security professional with UK MOD experience to take ownership of security frameworks, risk assessments and compliance within a highly secure environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead security assurance across secure networks and cloud systems.

• Manage risk assessments, security frameworks and compliance documentation.

• Ensure alignment with MOD standards, including Def Stan 05-138 and the Cyber Security Model.

• Conduct audits, track remediation plans and support external assessments.

• Advise stakeholders on security risks and regulatory requirements.

Essential Experience

• Cyber security experience within a UK MOD or Defence environment.

• Strong knowledge of Def Stan 05-138, DCPP Cyber Security Model and NCSC guidance.

• Experience in GRC, risk assessment, compliance and security assurance.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Security clearance required, subject to the relevant vetting process.
