Location:Bristol, On-site, 5 days per week (due to project classification)
Salary:Up to £65,000 + bonus & excellent benefits

Copello are working with a leading defence technology partner seeking aPrincipal Software Engineerto join theirNew Product Developmentteam, driving the next generation ofmission planning and control systems.

The Role

Youll lead the design and delivery of complex software solutions across the full development lifecycle, collaborating with international teams and mentoring engineers within a dynamic, high-performing environment.

What Youll Bring

• Strong proficiency inCore Javaand/orC++

• Proven experience delivering complex software systems end-to-end

• Solid understanding of thesoftware development lifecycle

• Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement experience

• Experience mentoring and developing junior engineers
