Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineer to join our team in Stevenage, working on Defence projects that require cutting-edge software solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that meet stringent security and performance requirements. Required Skills

• Proven experience as a Software Developer with a strong focus on C++ and Ada
• Experience in the Defence sector or a related industry is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience with agile development methodologies
• Knowledge of defence-specific software development standards and regulations
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
• Experience with continuous integration and delivery pipelines

Preferred Education and Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience as a Software Developer
• Experience working on Defence projects or in a related industry

Other Requirements

• Ability to commute to Stevenage on a 2/3 day a week basis 
• Must hold a current SC Clearance
• Must be a British National
