We are supporting a major international bank on a strategic Trade Surveillance Transformation Programme, centred on the implementation of TradingHub (MAST/CaaS) across both its London and New York trading hubs.
We're seeking an experienced Functional TradingHub Expert with cross-jurisdictional surveillance experience to lead the functional design, configuration, and operationalisation of TradingHub use cases. The ideal candidate will bring deep regulatory knowledge across the UK/EU and US, and hands-on experience delivering TradingHub solutions in global banking environments.

-
Act as the functional SME for TradingHub, leading the design and calibration of surveillance scenarios across asset classes and jurisdictions.
-
Configure TradingHub use cases, thresholds, and controls in collaboration with London and New York compliance, surveillance, and Front Office teams.
-
Ensure TradingHub detection logic aligns with UK/EU (eg MAR, MiFID II) and US (eg SEC, FINRA, CFTC) regulatory frameworks, including internal policy overlays.
-
Support scenario backtesting, false positive analysis, and tuning to ensure global consistency while respecting local regulatory nuances.
-
Run cross-region stakeholder workshops, ensuring alignment between global surveillance strategy and local implementation needs.
-
Document detection logic, calibration methodology, and governance processes to meet internal audit and regulatory expectations.
Key Requirements
-
Proven, hands-on experience implementing TradingHub (MAST and/or CaaS) in a global banking or consultancy context - this is essential.
-
Deep understanding of market abuse surveillance and relevant regulations across both the UK/EU and US.
-
Experience designing and tuning TradingHub scenarios, controls, and thresholds across multiple asset classes.
-
Strong stakeholder engagement skills, able to navigate compliance, surveillance ops, Front Office, and vendor teams across multiple time zones.
-
Familiarity with regulatory expectations, alert governance, and calibration processes in both London and New York contexts.
