Job Title: M&E Package Manager - Data Centre Projects
Location: Europe - Hybrid offering 25% site commitment typically 1 week per month
Projects: 2x Data Centres
Contract Type: 12 month flexible

Role Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced M&E Package Manager to oversee the delivery and coordination of multiple mechanical and electrical packages across two concurrent data centre projects. The successful candidate will ensure that all M&E works are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while maintaining full compliance with project specifications and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day delivery of all mechanical and electrical packages across both projects.

• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution and integration of all M&E works.

• Review designs, technical submissions, and ensure compliance with project specifications.

• Drive progress meetings, manage programme schedules, and mitigate risks or delays.

• Ensure proper interface management between M&E systems and other disciplines (BMS, IT, Security, Fire, etc.).

• Oversee quality assurance, testing, commissioning, and handover processes.

• Maintain a strong focus on health, safety, and environmental compliance across both sites.

• Act as key point of contact for client representatives, consultants, and subcontractors on M&E matters.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Extensive experience managing M&E packages on major data centre, mission-critical, or large-scale commercial projects.

• Strong technical knowledge across mechanical and electrical systems.

• Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors and fast-paced project delivery.

• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and coordination skills.

• Experience with commissioning processes, integrated system testing, and handover documentation.

Qualifications:

• Degree or relevant qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.

• SMSTS, CSCS or equivalent (desirable).
