Job Title: Mid Level Back End Developer

Salary: £55,000

Location: East Yorkshire – 4 days onsite

A growing technology business is looking for a Mid Level Back End Developer to join its product engineering team.

The company builds SaaS platforms that support complex commercial operations. Their products integrate with multiple third party systems and manage high volume transactional workflows. The engineering team is expanding as the platform continues to evolve and scale.

The Role

This is a backend focused position centred on building and improving core services and APIs.

You will:

  • Develop backend services using Node and Typescript
  • Build and maintain GraphQL APIs
  • Contribute to system design and architectural discussions
  • Collaborate with frontend engineers and product teams to deliver features end to end
  • Improve performance, reliability and scalability across the platform
  • Write clean, well tested, maintainable code

This role would suit an engineer who enjoys ownership and wants to contribute to a product that underpins real world business processes.
