Location: Manchester (Hybrid)

Salary: £40,000 – £45,000

The Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Systems Analyst to join a growing and forward-thinking organisation. This role will play a crucial part in optimising business processes, enhancing systems, and acting as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams. You’ll be joining a collaborative environment that values continuous improvement and supports professional development.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Analyse and improve business processes, workflows, and systems to support operational efficiency.
  • Liaise with stakeholders across departments to gather, document, and translate business requirements into functional specifications.
  • Drive improvements in data usage and reporting by developing SQL queries and performing data analysis.
  • Support delivery of system enhancements and process changes, ensuring alignment with business needs.
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and process mapping exercises to gather insights and document current/future state processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, operations, and finance to deliver successful system solutions.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a Business Systems Analyst or similar role, ideally within the insurance or wider financial services sector.
  • Strong SQL skills for querying and analysing data.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to manage expectations and build strong working relationships.
  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement, workflow optimisation, and requirements gathering.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
