Senior Data Engineer Leeds (Hybrid, 2 days onsite)

What youll be doing:

• Design & build scalable, efficient, and secure data pipelines in AWS
• Own development projects , shaping solutions from concept to delivery
• Model and manage data to enable high-quality analytics and insights
• Collaborate with stakeholders across tech, data science, and business teams
• Implement best practices for data security, privacy, and compliance
• Mentor junior engineers , driving technical standards and best practice
• Support transformation initiatives, introducing Agile methods like SCRUM & Kanban

What were looking for:

• Proven experience in cloud data engineering (AWS preferred)
• Hands-on expertise with services like Redshift, S3, Lambda, Glue, Lake Formation, CloudFormation
• Strong coding skills in Python, Spark, SQL (DBT, Apache Iceberg a bonus)
• Experience with data warehouse design, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code
• Knowledge of Agile & Waterfall delivery methods
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
