Contract Software Engineer (C++/C#) / Manchester / 12 Month Contract

Are you a skilled Software Engineer with solid experience in both C++ and C#? Join a high-performing team working on a critical HealthTech platform that is used widely across the globe!

What do we need from you?

• Strong professional experience in C++
• Solid development experience in C#
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, agile environments (Scrum ceremonies)

Nice to haves:

• Exposure to telecoms technologies such as VoIP, Asterisk, or Kamailio
• Knowledge of telecoms concepts and components

What will you be doing?

You will be helping to modernise the platform's architecture while delivering live, production-level features and remediating technical debt.

This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role where you'll play a key part in driving technical improvements, supporting live environments, and contributing to a more modern, maintainable system.

Further responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with engineering leadership to refine requirements and deliver solutions
• Design and implement changes to enhance system maintainability and deployment readiness
• Partner with QAs to test and push changes into production
• Help evolve the platform's architecture towards a more modern, streamlined design
