DevOps Lead

We’re hiring a DevOps Lead to join a leading UK digital infrastructure organisation and play a key role in shaping the future of software engineering through AI and modern DevOps practices .

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll manage an agile engineering team while staying close to the technology—owning the full technical stack and driving delivery of cloud-based applications.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead and manage a team of engineers, analysts, and QA specialists in an agile environment
  • Own the end-to-end tech stac k (frontend, backend, APIs, cloud, databases)
  • Drive delivery of scalable, secure cloud-based solutions
  • Oversee CI/CD pipelines, automation, and DevOps best practices
  • Work closely with stakeholders to shape roadmaps, priorities, and delivery

AI-Driven Engineering (Key Focus)

  • Us e AI-assisted development too ls (e.g. Copilot, code generation) in day-to-day coding
  • Embed AI across the software lifecycle (design, build, test, documentation)
  • Drive adoption o f AI-first engineering practic es across the team
  • Ensure AI usage is secure, governed, and aligned to best practice

✅ What We’re Looking for

  • Proven experience leadi ng software engineering or DevOps teams
  • Strong background in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Hands-on experience wi th CI/CD, Git, and Agile delivery
  • Full-stack understanding with a passion for modern engineering practice
  • Exposure to or interest in AI-assisted software development
