The Role

As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the technical landscape of a forward-thinking organization. You’ll work on high-impact projects, leveraging your skills to deliver innovative solutions that align with global trends and business needs. Key responsibilities include:

  • Automating infrastructure and environments to streamline operations.
  • Owning and optimizing Continuous Integration infrastructure.
  • Developing advanced monitoring and diagnostics systems.
  • Delivering end-user automation solutions that drive business value.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking well-educated, ambitious DevOps professionals with a strong technical foundation and excellent communication skills. Ideal candidates will have:

  • Proficiency in PowerShell or other scripting languages.
  • Coding experience in C#, Java, or Python (prior developer experience is a plus).
  • Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
  • Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes or Docker Swarm).
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like ELK, Grafana, or similar.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, ideally with TeamCity.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Windows/Linux administration.
  • A minimum 2:1 degree in Computer Science or a related field, preferably from a top-tier university.

Bonus Skills

While not essential, experience with the following is highly desirable:

  • Atlassian tools (Bitbucket, JIRA).
  • Artifact storage (Artifactory).
  • Octopus Deploy or static analysis tools (e.g., SonarQube).
  • Control-M, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP), or VMware (vSphere)/SAN.
  • Exposure to financial services is a plus but not required.
