The Role
As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the technical landscape of a forward-thinking organization. You’ll work on high-impact projects, leveraging your skills to deliver innovative solutions that align with global trends and business needs. Key responsibilities include:
- Automating infrastructure and environments to streamline operations.
- Owning and optimizing Continuous Integration infrastructure.
- Developing advanced monitoring and diagnostics systems.
- Delivering end-user automation solutions that drive business value.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking well-educated, ambitious DevOps professionals with a strong technical foundation and excellent communication skills. Ideal candidates will have:
- Proficiency in PowerShell or other scripting languages.
- Coding experience in C#, Java, or Python (prior developer experience is a plus).
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
- Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes or Docker Swarm).
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like ELK, Grafana, or similar.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, ideally with TeamCity.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Windows/Linux administration.
- A minimum 2:1 degree in Computer Science or a related field, preferably from a top-tier university.
Bonus Skills
While not essential, experience with the following is highly desirable:
- Atlassian tools (Bitbucket, JIRA).
- Artifact storage (Artifactory).
- Octopus Deploy or static analysis tools (e.g., SonarQube).
- Control-M, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP), or VMware (vSphere)/SAN.
- Exposure to financial services is a plus but not required.
