Our client is a data-driven SaaS company who are looking for an experienced Data Engineer who has successfully scaled a companys data maturity before and is eager to do it again.

This isnt a maintenance role. Its a rare opportunity to lead a large-scale data re-architecture project from the ground up. Youll have the autonomy and trust to make key architectural decisions, shaping the technical foundation that powers our entire businessfrom product and analytics to customer intelligence and growth.

Skills Needed

• 46+ years of professional experience as a Senior or Lead Data Engineer , including leadership on at least one major data re-architecture project
• Deep expertise in SQL and Python , applying data engineering best practices such as testing, version control, and CI/CD
• Hands-on experience building scalable data pipelines in a modern cloud environment (e.g., dbt, AWS Glue, AWS Lake Formation, Apache Spark, Amazon Redshift)
• Strong understanding of data modeling, ELT design patterns, data governance, and security best practices

Bonus .

• Experience with reverse ETL tools (e.g., Census)
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations (GDPR, ISO 27001)
• Experience supporting customer-facing analytics features in a multi-tenant SaaS environment
• Experience building data pipelines for AI and machine learning applications
