Solution Architect - Cloud & Digital Transformation | Manchester (Hybrid)

A global financial services leader is seeking a Solution Architect to design and deliver secure, scalable cloud and digital transformation solutions. This is a permanent, hybrid role (3 days per week in Manchester) and pays up to £80,000 with bonus, pension and benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and document end-to-end architectures for large-scale cloud and digital programmes.
• Lead technical design and governance to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
• Collaborate with engineering, DevOps and business teams to validate and deliver modern, cloud-native solutions.
• Define and enforce technical standards, patterns, and best practices.

Key Skills:

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect on cloud transformation initiatives.
• Deep knowledge of Azure, APIs, microservices and integration patterns.
• Strong understanding of architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman) and modelling techniques (UML, BPMN, ArchiMate).
• Practical experience with DevOps, CI/CD and security architecture.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
