Lead Data Architect - Director, Strategy, Governance, Risk, Finance - Financial Services

My client, A leading UK bank is looking for an experienced Lead Data Architect to support its Group Functions, including Risk, Finance, and Treasury, based in Glasgow.

This is a senior individual contributor role responsible for shaping and overseeing data architecture, governance, and strategy across key corporate functions, with touch points in Risk, Finance, Treasury and audit. This is a broad portfolio of work, working with a wide range of stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the data architecture strategy for Risk, Finance, and Treasury.
• Provide oversight on data governance, modelling, and data quality.
• Ensure data architecture aligns with regulatory and functional requirements.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders across business and technology.

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Strong experience in data architecture within a large scale financial services organisation.
• Experience in Risk or Finance
• Solid technology expertise, including enterprise data
• Knowledge data governance practices.
• Excellent communication skills
