A Quality Supplier Officer opportunity has opened up with an established, family-owned business operating across multiple industries in the UK and beyond. This is a standalone role sitting within a dedicated QSHE team, offering genuine scope to shape supplier processes at a strategic level. The Role

The Quality Supplier Officer will take ownership of the supplier approval and performance management programme, ensuring it remains aligned with the company's Integrated Management System and relevant certification standards including ISO 9001:2015, ISO 13485, ISO 14001, and others. On a day-to-day basis, you will plan and carry out external audits, both nationally and internationally, produce detailed audit reports, and drive corrective actions through to resolution. You will also collaborate with the Procurement team during onboarding of new suppliers, assessing risk and confirming that all necessary technical documentation is secured before approval is granted. Internally, you will conduct audits to surface issues, track KPIs and CAPAs, and help embed a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organisation.

What experience does the Quality Supplier Officer need?

• Demonstrable experience overseeing quality management systems, with thorough working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 
• Hands-on auditing background in ISO 13485, whether in a lead or supporting capacity
• A science degree, or a comparable depth of experience gained in a supplier-facing quality or supplier management environment
