As part of continuing business growth, an IT Support Analyst / Service Desk Analyst is required to join one of the region's most successful accountancy firms.  The successful Support Analyst / Service Desk Analyst will be the first line of support on a busy helpdesk, dealing with IT issues. Following a successful probation period, you will be able to work from home up to 2 days a week.

The Role

The Support Analyst / Service Desk Analyst, will join the IT team of a growing top 40 accountancy firm with offices across central and southern England, as they seek to provide an exceptional support service to c.500 users. The Support Analyst / Service Desk Analyst will be responsible for picking up helpdesk queries and investigating their resolution, or passing on to the 2nd line where appropriate.

What experience does the Support Analyst / Service Desk Analyst need?

  • Some prior commercial experience in a 1st line Service Desk role or similar
  • Ideally, some experience with an ITSM platform such as Freshservice, ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, etc.
  • Basic Active Directory experience, along with Windows, Microsoft 365, etc.
  • Good troubleshooting skills across hardware, software and basic network issues
