Role: Embedded Software engineer

Location: Swindon

My client is looking to hire a Embedded Engineer with C++ and Python skills but has a clear aptitude to learn the optics and mathematical modelling of image processing.

In an ideal world , we would find a embedded optical/optronics engineer that has been actively involved in the development of various imaging technologies (might include focus variation, interferometry, structured light, etc).

The person would have a strong knowledge of embedded systems, including the firmware and application development.

Tech stack: C++, Python, MATLAB and a bonus is Optics, Zemax and MATLAB but can be taught.

Desired Skills:

• Optical Engineering, Physics, or Electronics Degree
• actively involved in the development of various imaging technologies (might include focus variation, interferometry, structured light, etc).
• Image Processing Experience/Skills
• Electronic Engineering Skills – high speed cct design, PCB Layout
• A Physicist with strong software skills would fill that sort of mould.
