Senior Database Officer

We are partnering with a well-established and purpose-driven organisation to recruit a Senior Database Officer to join their collaborative and ambitious Data Team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced data professional to play a key role in driving data quality, efficiency and continuous improvement across the organisation.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about data integrity, problem-solving and enabling teams to make informed, data-driven decisions. You will work closely with colleagues across multiple departments, ensuring data is accurate, accessible and supports the delivery of impact services.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the delivery of bulk data imports, ensuring data from multiple sources is processed accurately and efficiently

- Provide expert database support across the organisation, resolving queries and delivering user training

- Maintain and champion high data quality standards, ensuring systems operate effectively and comply with GDPR

- Develop and improve data processes, documentation and workflows

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including finance, operations and customer-facing teams) to deliver effective data solutions

- Support financial reconciliation processes and ensure consistency across datasets

Requirements

- Proven experience working with CRM systems, ideally Raiser's Edge or similar

- Advanced Excel skills and experience with data import and manipulation tools

- Strong experience managing large datasets, data quality and complex data processes

- Good understanding of GDPR and data governance principles

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills

- Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across teams
