Oracle Warehouse Management (WMS) Technical Support Lead

  • You will be responsible for the support of all associated integrations and reports plus all PaaS extensions, you will have a real voice within the overall solution delivery.
  • Working within a mixed near shore and far shore delivery team, you will work closely with a senior delivery team based in NI, so will have the support of a local senior peer group.

Your role will include:

Service Support, including:

  • Achievement of service levels in line with SLA
  • Configuration fixes and changes
  • Customization fixes and changes (Oracle eBusiness modules)
  • Incident, change and problem handling & management
  • Delivery of WMS components as part of Service Releases
  • Update service desk applications (status of allocated incidents, problems and changes)
  • Provide updates to Service Manager
  • WMS information for Application Management operational and contractual reports

Your Experience:

This is a broad role where you will have experience of:

Inbound Processes & Configuration. Hands-on experience in configuring and supporting the following inbound warehouse processes including:

  • PO Receiving, Advanced Shipment Notice (ASN) Processing, Cross-Docking, Directed Putaway, Transfer Order Receipt and Return Material Authorization (RMA) Receipt Processing

Outbound Processes & Configuration. Strong understanding of end-to-end outbound fulfilment processes including:

  • Sales Order Fulfilment, Transfer Order Fulfilment, Wave Planning, Picking, Packing, Shipping Execution and Carrier and Label Printing Integration

Inventory Operations & Configuration. Proficient in warehouse inventory control and optimization processes including:

  • Cycle Counting, Replenishment, Inventory Adjustments, Stock Transfers, License Plate Number (LPN) Management and Inventory Visibility and Control

Core WMS Configuration Knowledge. Capable of designing and configuring warehouse structures and operational rules, such as:

  • Warehouse Structure Setup: Facility Structure, Warehouse Locations, Zones, Aisles, Bays and Bin Locations
  • Warehouse Task Configuration: Task Types, Putaway Rules, Picking Rules, Allocation Strategies and Inventory Control Parameters

Your technical skills:

Strong technical expertise to work effectively with integrations, reporting, and troubleshooting activities. Including:

Integration Knowledge & Reporting:

  • With knowledge of WMS APIs (XML/JSON,REST/SOAP APIs), underlying Oracle WMS core tables, SQL Query Development and Oracle SCM and Voice time is preferred.

Ideally you will be based in Northern Ireland, but there is the ability to perform this role in a hybrid way, as long as you are willing to work 2-3 days per month in NI. Successful candidates must be based in the UK and not require visa support.
