Group Finance Manager

About the Business

This is an opportunity to become a Group Finance Manager for a growing, tech business based in Studley, operating across multiple group entities in the UK and internationally. Main Duties:

This is a varied, hands-on Group Finance Manager role, which includes:

  • Lead, develop, and support a small finance team to ensure individual and collective objectives are met.
  • Oversee finance operations across multiple group entities in the UK, US, and offshore.
  • Take a hands-on approach to day-to-day transactional finance activities across the group.
  • Own the month-end close process and prepare multiple sets of management accounts end to end for senior review.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline month-end processes and improve reporting efficiency.
  • Review existing finance operations and implement process improvements where appropriate.
  • Prepare monthly VAT returns for the group.
  • Support the preparation of annual statutory accounts across multiple entities.
  • Act as the main point of contact for external auditors and manage the majority of audit fieldwork.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting systems to support timely reporting.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified.
  • Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite is desirable but not essential.
  • Advanced Excel skills with confidence handling large and complex data sets.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and best practice.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
  • Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills.
  • Well organised with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
