Half Term Cover Secondary School South Manchester

Cover People are working on behalf of a secondary school in South Manchester seeking a qualified Computing Teacher (QTS) to cover KS3 Computing lessons for the second half of the Autumn Term (Monday 4th November Friday 20th December).

This is a short-term, full-time teaching role ideal for a confident and enthusiastic computing specialist with recent classroom experience. You ll be working with well-behaved KS3 classes, supported by a collaborative department.

• Deliver engaging and well-structured Computing lessons to KS3 pupils

• Adapt teaching to meet the needs of a range of learners

• Encourage digital literacy, safe online behaviour, and basic coding skills

• Manage the classroom effectively and maintain high expectations

• Mark and assess work in line with school policies

• UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Specialism in Computing or ICT

• Recent experience teaching KS3 in a UK secondary school

• Confident classroom presence and strong subject knowledge

• Right to work in the UK
