Location: Remote / Home-Based – London, or surrounding areas (with occasional regional travel for key account closing and team meetings and get togethers)

About the Role

We are seeking a results-driven Strategic Account Executive to own the final stage of the CoverMe sales journey. While our autonomous AI ecosystem handles the heavy lifting of lead research and qualification 24/7, our best closers do not wait for the machine. You will be expected to actively hunt for your own leads to add to the pool, blending "old school" grit and proven techniques with our cutting-edge AI functions. We are constantly seeking new best practices to save time and money; you must be hungry for the next trend that gains an edge. This is a high-paced, scale-up environment that requires extreme flexibility and a "roll-up-the-sleeves" mentality. You must be a committed team player who is agile enough to do whatever is required to secure the win.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pipeline Co-Creation: While utilising our AI-generated leads, you will be responsible for manually prospecting and adding your own high-value targets to the lead pool to ensure a robust, diversified pipeline.
  • High-Value Closing: Conduct final-stage demonstrations and lead negotiations for prospects, whether they were warmed by AI or hunted by you personally.
  • Strategic Relationship Architecture: Build deep, long-term trust with Senior Management and Business Owners through high-level human consultation.
  • Agile Strategy Execution: Constantly look for and implement new best practices or "old school" techniques that can work alongside AI to lower customer acquisition costs.
  • AI-Pipeline Management: Manage a fast-moving pipeline within our AI-native CRM, using automated data to refine your human-led closing pitch.
  • Cross-Functional Problem Solving: Collaborate directly with the CFO and product teams to identify roadblocks and execute instant solutions with zero red tape.

Ideal Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

  • Scale-Up Veteran: You have proven experience working in a high-performing, self-sufficient startup or scale-up environment where "getting things done" is the only metric that matters.
  • Creative Problem Solver: When a process fails, you don't complain; you find three alternative solutions, present the best one to the team, and remain open to feedback to find the winning path.
  • Self-Sufficient & Driven: You are a "winner" by nature who is comfortable in a small, lean team where decisions are executed instantly without layers of bureaucracy.
  • Non-Negotiable Traits: Highly driven, high-energy positive attitude, and a sharp, confident contributor in team meetings.
  • 2+ Years in SaaS Closing: A track record of hitting targets in fast-paced, high-growth environments. • Prospecting Agility: The willingness and experience to pivot between AI-driven data and manual outreach techniques to find the best route to a "Yes".
  • Fitness Industry Knowledge: A background in fitness operations is highly advantageous.
