Interim Senior Finance & AI Dashboard Lead

We’re supporting a fast-growing, data-driven organisation in the Bristol/Bath area seeking an experienced senior interim to lead the delivery of an AI-driven dashboarding project for their finance and commercial teams.

This is a strategic, hands-on assignment — blending financial acumen, data insight, and AI capability to transform how the business visualises and uses its performance data to make faster, smarter decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of AI-enabled dashboards and predictive analytics, working closely with Finance, FP&A, and Commercial teams.
• Define key business drivers, KPIs, and data sources to ensure accurate, actionable insights.
• Partner with IT and data engineering to ensure data integrity and governance.
• Use AI tools (ideally Gemini) to automate insight generation and narrative commentary.
• Challenge and enhance existing reporting structures to move from static reporting to driver-led, real-time intelligence.
• Present findings to senior stakeholders, helping to embed data-driven decision-making across the business.

About You

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with strong financial modelling and analysis experience.
• Proven experience delivering dashboarding or data visualisation projects (Power BI, Looker, Tableau, or similar).
• Knowledge of AI tools and large language models (Gemini experience highly desirable).
• Comfortable bridging finance, data, and technology — with the ability to translate between technical and commercial teams.
• Confident operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment with senior stakeholder exposure.
• Able to travel regularly to Bristol/Bath for collaboration and workshops.
