Location: Central London (Hybrid, 34 days/week onsite)

Rate: 415 per day (Inside IR35)

Contract: 6 months (with strong potential for extension)

Overview

Were looking for a talented Programmer/Analyst to partner with the EU Fleet Planning team and accelerate the execution of their automation roadmap. You will play a key role in creating, testing, and validating optimization models that improve how Amazon allocates and schedules its last-mile delivery fleet across Europe.

This is a great opportunity to apply your analytical, data-handling, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced logistics environment where data science meets operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, test, and analyze User Acceptance Test (UAT) scenarios to validate science optimization models.
  • Work with real business data to test and refine model performance.
  • Support integration of optimization models into fleet scheduling tools .
  • Collaborate with a Senior Fleet Supply Chain Manager and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into testing and analytical frameworks.
  • Identify process improvements and help operationalize automation solutions.

About the Team

The EU Fleet Planning team defines weekly vehicle allocation plans ensuring Delivery Stations (DS) and Delivery Service Partners (DSP) have the right number of vehicles to complete last-mile delivery routes. The team is building automation tools and science-based models to make planning faster, more accurate, and more efficient.

Candidate Profile

  1. Data analysis and management (Advanced Excel required; SQL a plus)
