Rate: Up to £600 per day

Overview

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Solution Architect to join a major ServiceNow programme supporting the rollout of Now Assist within a large enterprise environment.

This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with senior business and technical stakeholders, driving the design, governance and implementation of ServiceNow solutions with a particular focus on Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM).

The successful candidate will act as a technical leader across the platform, ensuring best practice, governance and architectural excellence while supporting the delivery of strategic ServiceNow initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the ServiceNow subject matter expert for Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM).
  • Lead solution design workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable, high-quality ServiceNow solutions.
  • Take ownership of technical requirements relating to HAM and SAM implementation and enhancement activities.
  • Produce and maintain High-Level Design (HLD) documentation and solution architecture artefacts.
  • Provide technical governance across the ServiceNow platform.
  • Establish and enforce development standards and coding best practices across delivery teams.
  • Support sprint planning, technical estimation and project delivery activities.
  • Act as the technical escalation point for complex issues and development blockers.
  • Contribute to platform health monitoring, optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support technical triage and resolution of major incidents where required.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful solution delivery and adoption.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Expert-level ServiceNow experience.
  • Strong experience designing and implementing ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM).
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM).
  • Proven experience operating as a ServiceNow Solution Architect within enterprise-scale environments.
  • Experience defining technical standards, governance frameworks and platform best practices.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience producing architecture documentation and design artefacts.
  • Ability to lead technical discussions with both business and technical audiences.
  • Experience working within Agile delivery environments.

Desirable

  • Experience supporting ServiceNow Now Assist implementations.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator and/or Certified Implementation Specialist certifications.
  • Experience within large-scale transformation programmes.
  • Public sector or regulated industry experience.
