Salesforce Architect

Location: London / hybrid

Inside IR35 rate: £500 per day

Duration: Initial 6-months with possible extension

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Architect to define the technical direction of Salesforce products and ensure solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable, aligned with business objectives, and fit for purpose. The role will play a key part in shaping architectural outcomes, establishing best practices, and supporting the successful delivery and evolution of Salesforce capabilities across the organisation.

The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product teams, engineers, and delivery partners to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions. They will provide architectural leadership throughout the delivery lifecycle, from discovery and design through to implementation and ongoing optimisation.

• Lead and facilitate design and architecture workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
• Translate business and functional requirements into scalable Salesforce solution architectures.
• Produce high-quality solution designs and author detailed technical design documentation.
• Define and promote Salesforce architecture principles, standards, patterns, and best practices.
• Participate in Technical Governance Forums and architecture review boards, providing clear recommendations and technical guidance.
• Provide technical leadership and ongoing support to delivery and engineering teams throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Review proposed solutions and designs to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security, integration, data, and governance standards.
• Identify technical risks, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement, and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the Salesforce platform and its wider integration within the technology landscape.

• Strong experience in Salesforce solution architecture, with a proven track record of designing and delivering complex Salesforce solutions.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, architecture, integration patterns, security, data, and development principles.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong experience with Salesforce platform governance, architectural standards, and technical decision-making.
• Experience leading architecture and design workshops and producing clear, detailed technical documentation.
• Ability to balance technical considerations with business objectives, delivery constraints, and long-term platform strategy.
• Salesforce certifications relevant to architecture are desirable.
