About the Role

As part of our growth we are looking for 3 x Senior Commercial Managers across our global business covering Brand & Licensing, Government & ID and Transformation in the UK.

A Senior Commercial Manager is a key influential member of the global Commercial team supporting the development and execution of the commercial transformation programme and commercial strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Lead commercial strategy and business development activities within your assigned sector.
  • Manage contract negotiations, tenders, and proposals with clients, ensuring competitive and compliant submissions.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers in organizations and relevant industry authorities.
  • Collaborate with sales, legal, operations, and finance teams to ensure smooth execution of contracts.
  • Monitor and evaluate market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Support and contribute to pricing strategies and commercial models that optimize profitability while meeting customer needs.
  • Oversee the bid management process, ensuring timely and high-quality responses.
  • Provide commercial governance, ensuring adherence to company policies and government regulations.
  • Track revenue performance, prepare forecasts, and deliver regular commercial performance reports.
  • Mentor and support the wider commercial team to strengthen team capability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or related field, or equivalent.
  • Preferred: MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification.

Required Skills

  • 8+ years of experience in commercial management, with at least 4 years in related markets.
  • Proven track record in negotiating large contracts and managing long sales cycles.
  • Fluent in English; additional language proficiency is an asset.

  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Deep understanding of government procurement processes, policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities.
  • Commercial acumen with strong financial and analytical skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
  • Strategic thinker with problem-solving capability.
  • Proficiency in CRM/ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
