We require a highly skilled, motivated and driven individual for IT Support. This represents an excellent opportunity to enhance your knowledge on software, hardware, network infrastructure, telecommunications and CCTV. This will be a hands-on role, building computers, tablets, phones for end users, terminals for the factory floor and installing job specific software. Supporting the infrastructure team to maintain servers, network switches, phone system and the CCTV. Your duties will include: Supporting the factory systems Be first line support to internal users Dealing with day-to-day IT problems IT infrastructure maintenance within the factory and offices Logging issues with Cranswick Helpdesk for higher level problems Maintain and promote high standards and quality of work Ensure that company policies and procedures and health and safety practices are followed. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills / qualifications / attributes: - Essential Criteria: Good level of IT Literacy Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems & Office Excellent problem-solving skills. Basic network knowledge Highly motivated and have the ability to perform in a highly challenging, expanding and pressurised environment Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative. Good time keeping Desirable Criteria: Knowledge/experience with office or manufacturing printers Experience working within the food industry Knowledge/experience of Microsoft NAV Working knowledge of Power BI Knowledge/experience of Emydex Hours of work: 40hrs per week,Monday to Friday. However start and finish times require flexibility to suit operational needs as the site operates from 6am to 5pm.
