Rate: Circa £60,000 pro rata (£36.58/hr)

About the Role

A luxury premium EV automotive brand is seeking a Senior UX Researcher to lead delivery of user testing across their next-generation digital in-vehicle experiences. This is a senior lead practitioner role — you'll be the most experienced research voice in the room, running studies, mentoring junior researchers and directly influencing how the next generation of premium EV drivers interact with cutting-edge technology.

You Will:

• Lead and coordinate UX testing across vehicles, simulators and prototypes
• Design, moderate and analyse in-person usability studies
• Mentor and guide junior researchers day to day
• Use Maze, Qualtrics and other research tools to design and analyse studies
• Translate findings into clear actionable design recommendations

You'll Need:

• Senior-level user research and moderated usability testing background
• Proficient with Maze, Qualtrics, UserTesting.com or Optimal Workshop
• Proven ability to lead research across multiple prototype fidelities
• Experience guiding junior researchers
• Full UK driving licence + right to work in UK ✅

Bonus Points For:

• HMI or automotive UX experience
• Eye-tracking or behavioural analytics experience
• Simulator or immersive testing environment experience
