Trade Floor Support Engineer

A leading financial institution, based in Canary Wharf are looking to hire a Trade Floor Support Engineer (1st and 2nd line), working as part of the London IT Team. They need an Engineer with experience of basic networking, Desktop and Laptop Hardware Support, Windows 10, MS Office 2007/2010, Android & I 0/S and Printer/Fax Support. The Support Engineer will be required to deal with problems face-to-face with the user, software applications, trading floor and user interface. You must have previous experience of working in a high-pressured environment. Experience of Bloomberg would be beneficial but not essential.

A normal day at the office for the Support Engineer consists of attending to users' technical issues, installing new pcs/printers, configuring mobile devices, inventory maintenance, etc.

Ideally they are looking for someone that is able to start immediately. This will be office based, Monday to Friday with the occasional weekend work.
