You will:
- Lead sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
- Actively remove blockers and manage delivery flow
- Work closely with developers, testers, DevOps, and architects
- Ensure backlogs are prioritised, refined, and delivery-ready
- Manage risks, dependencies, and delivery progress in real time
- Engage and influence senior stakeholders with clear reporting
What We’re Looking For
You must have recent, hands-on experience delivering within software engineering teams.

- Version control (e.g. Git)

- Cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure)
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- Experience managing complex backlogs, risks, and dependencies
- High proficiency with Jira for tracking and reporting delivery
Important
This role is not suited to candidates whose experience is primarily:
- Programme or portfolio delivery without hands-on team involvement
- CRM / ERP implementations (e.g. Dynamics)
- Cloud migration-only programmes
- Integration or infrastructure delivery without software product focus
Environment
- Central government / public sector digital environment
- Structured delivery with clear governance and reporting expectations
- Focus on building secure, resilient, high-quality digital services
