Crone Corkill are partnered with a Central London based firm as they look to hire an EUC Engineer permanently – Becoming the first hire in a standalone role (for now at least). Working as part of a fairly large IT team, you’ll be instrumental in building out the function from scratch.

Working closely across different IT and non-tech teams, end user computing will ultimately be your core focus, with responsibilities including the deployment of desktops, laptops and mobile devices via Autopilot, handling endpoint and mobile device management via Intune, writing PowerShell scripts, dealing with 3rd line escalations, updating AVD Windows images and more.

Please note that experience working in a similar capacity within the Legal industry is very highly advantageous.

What will you do as an EUC Engineer?

• Lead the new End User Compute function, initially on a standalone basis, with a view to expand the team as time goes on
• Provide strategic oversight as you build the EUC function, ensuring alignment to their ongoing growth strategy
• Use Autopilot for the designing, building and deployment of devices, such as laptops, mobile devices, desktops, etc
• Optimise Microsoft endpoint & mobile management solutions, such as Intune and SCCM
• Advocate for automation, develop PowerShell scripts to automate processes, deployments and other IT related tasks
• Maintain Azure Virtual Desktop Windows build images
• Manage/support M365 applications and services
• Provide 3rd line escalation support for 1st/2nd Line Analysts
• Collaborate with the wider IT team, including the Applications function, using tools such as iManage and Aderant

• Experience providing high levels of EUC knowledge in the Legal space

• Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
• iOS support
• M365, Azure and Windows 11
• Dell & Lenovo laptop support (desirable)
• iManage (desirable)
