Full Stack Engineer - C# / React / SQL
Our multi-strategy hedge fund client is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to join their technology team in London on a contract basis.
You'll be working on critical middle and back-office systems that support trading and operations functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using C# backend and React frontend
- Build and enhance middle and back-office systems supporting fund operations
- Collaborate with business stakeholders including fund accounting, operations, and trading teams
- Develop scalable, high-performance solutions for financial data processing
- Participate in code reviews and maintain high development standards
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong proficiency in C# .NET (Core preferred) for backend development
- Solid experience with React and modern JavaScript frameworks
- Experience with SQL Server and database design
- Proven experience working on middle/back-office systems in financial services
- Understanding of fund operations workflows and processes
- Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Highly Desirable
- Experience with fund accounting/administration systems (Geneva, Charles River, SimCorp, etc.)
- Knowledge of portfolio accounting concepts and post-trade lifecycle
- Familiarity with financial instruments (equities, fixed income, derivatives)
- Understanding of hedge fund operations
