Compensation: $80-120/hour
Location: Remote
Duration: 1-2 months (with potential extension)
Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week, flexible and asynchronous
Role Responsibilities (Training support will be provided)
- Compile external ML competitions into realistic, challenging tasks involving model training, dataset preparation, and experimentation
- Draft detailed, executable natural language plans for completing machine learning engineering tasks
- Implement these plans in Python code within a provided Docker environment
- Validate code outputs against original plans and document any discrepancies
Requirements
- Strong years of experience in applied machine learning or a PhD in machine learning or a closely related field
- Strong Python engineering skills, particularly in model training and data handling workflows
- Familiarity with Docker-based development environments
- Detail-oriented mindset with ability to follow technical specifications precisely
- Experience in ML reproducibility, benchmarking, or experimental validation (preferred)
- Ability to work independently under compliance-aligned protocols
- Access to a desktop or laptop computer (Chromebooks are not supported)
