We are looking for a Senior Executive specialising in content management, along with SEO and an understanding of Google Analytics to join our team.

Working with the Senior Web Manager and Web Assistant you will also be responsible for the maintenance and day-to-day performance of the website. Implementing website updates and enhancements (including CRO), on-page SEO and website administration.

Working with multiple stakeholders across the marketing team you will be a key figure internally for web content creation as part of wider projects and campaigns.

The Web team collaborates across the firm, along with the wider BD and Marketing team, such as PR and digital content, people communications, brand, design, and sector marketing to help shape the right web content approaches for a positive user experience. We also work closely with a small group of third-party digital agencies.

This role reports to the Senior Web Manager and works closely with cross-functional teams where necessary.

Responsibilities

Web – Sitecore

  • Development of new web pages/content and web journeys including web auditing, UX optimisation, publishing and maintaining web pages. Create web pages that optimise graphics, audio and video content that are provided to you by the design and the digital content teams.
  • Project work to enhance the functionality utilising the dynamic functions.
  • Editorial governance, proofreading, re-structuring and editing articles by authors, optimising written pieces to increase user engagement.
  • Managing and optimising the working relationship and processes with teams in the BD and Marketing Department, as well as 3rd party website developers.
  • Championing the firm’s writing style guide/tone of voice and delivering web writing training where extra guidance is required.
  • Specific duties will vary from time to time in line with business needs. Delivering against tight deadlines and executing multiple web pages/projects under pressure.
  • Clear communication skills to aid working with different teams and agencies.
  • A curiosity to learn new things and challenge ways of working.
  • A mindset which demonstrates a comfort with testing, learning and optimising.
  • The ability to multitask and prioritise duties whilst working towards tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must be proactive and show ability to work on own initiative.

SEO and Analytics

  • Optimise digital content for SEO, testing content and delivery mechanisms for an optimised user experience.
  • An understanding of link building and SEO content strategies.
  • Analyse web traffic metrics to find opportunities for improving audience messaging on digital channels. Using software and tools, e.g. conducting keyword research.
  • Supporting the sharing of website and SEO best practices across the wider National BD and Marketing Department, helping to deliver advice and training.
  • Measuring and analysing website and SEO performance data, on-page and off-page SEO.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Two years of agency or in-house experience in a content marketing-focused role.
  • Content Management Systems e.g. Sitecore, Wordpress.
  • Ceros studio (training will be provided).
  • An understanding of Google Analytics, Keyword Planner, PPC and Google Search Console.
