This will include providing the necessary support to manage and control the test environments.Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:Act as technical support to install, configure and commission new equipment/systems introduced into the Test areaLiaise with the Test and Engineering teams to identify equipment needsSupport the wider Test team by ensuring equipment is set up and available for use to meet project commitmentsPrepare the test area for customer visits and liaise with the customer during witnessed testMaintain the Test Environments and ensure that all equipment is kept in working order (fault finding to unit level and replace defective units)Interrogate error logs to identify issues and provide solutions to resolve these issuesLiaise with the IT Infrastructure teams and co-ordinate patches and smoke tests for the different environmentsIdentify bugs and defects with test devices and actively problem solveSwap defective modules and manage timely correction through collaboration with the Repair CentreContribute to the maintenance of configuration records for all the test equipmentKeep management team fully informed of progress, issues and any complicationsProactively maintain own knowledge of allocated devices / systemsComply with Cubic’s values and adherence to all company policy and procedures.
