Demand Generation & Ops Manager
Summary π
Broadcast.co is home to industry-leading brands: Cue , MatchMaker.fm , Podcast.co , and Radio.co . Weβre looking for a technically-minded, results-driven candidate to join our team.
Sitting at the intersection of campaign strategy, direct response copy, and technical lead qualification, you will take ownership of how we convert and qualify the traffic weβre already generating. Working closely with our Marketing Executive (who manages paid media) and reporting to the Head of Marketing and CMO, your focus is on what happens next: ensuring the right people engage, the right leads are nurtured, and more of our traffic converts into pipeline.
Boiled down, youβll own the "middle of the funnel", building the automated engines and writing the persuasive copy that turns interest into revenue.
- Reporting : Head of Marketing & CMO.
- Location : Manchester, UK - hybrid (commutable for office days).
- Salary : Dependent on experience.
- Contract : Full-time, permanent.
- Hours : 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Role Overview πβοΈ
Take ownership of our conversion engine to ensure traffic becomes a qualified pipeline.
- Campaign Ownership : Own the GTM strategy for converting inbound traffic.
- Technical Ops : Build and connect funnels, sequences, and CRM workflows.
- Conversion Copy : Write high-intent direct response copy that moves the needle.
- Funnel Optimisation : Run A/B tests to fix and improve MQL/SQL flows.
- Sales Alignment : Work hand-in-hand with sales for lead handoff and quality.
Responsibilities π¦Ί
Youβll be a "builder-strategist", creating the frameworks that nurture prospects from their first click to a sales-ready lead.
Plan:
- Develop GTM campaign strategies within a portfolio of SaaS and service brands.
- Map lead journeys, identifying traffic drop off and where automation is needed.
- Collaborate to align paid media spend with high-converting landing pages.
Execute:
- Build: Get hands-on with marketing automation tools (e.g, HubSpot, GoHighLevel, ActiveCampaign) to build sequences and funnels.
- Write: Produce sharp, persuasive, and direct response copy for emails, CTAs, and landing pages that connect with customers.
- Test: Set up and manage A/B tests on messaging, page layouts, and campaign structures to identify and fill gaps.
- Nurture: Create behaviour-based email workflows that react to prospect intent and lead scoring.
Report:
- Own campaign performance reporting with a focus on MQLs, SQLs, and pipeline.
- Use data/attribution tools to prove whatβs working and what needs to be killed.
- Gather feedback from teams to constantly refine lead qualification criteria.
Requirements π
Working across several brands, you'll need a systematic approach and a deep understanding of B2B buyer behaviour.
Essential:
- Proven Experience : A background in Demand Gen or GTM roles with a clear track record of driving pipeline.
- Direct Response Specialist : You know how to write copy that converts; you don't just "create content", you drive action.
- Marketing Ops Proficiency : Hands-on experience with automation stacks (CRM, funnel builders, tracking tools).
- Data-Driven : You make decisions based on numbers, not gut feel, and understand attribution.
- Sales-Minded : You understand the MQL to SQL journey and the importance of lead quality.
- Pragmatic & Proactive : A self-starter who identifies a broken process and takes the initiative to fix it.
- B2B/SaaS Background : Experience in the tech or creator economy space is highly preferred.
Desirable:
- Familiarity with the podcast, radio, or audio industry.
- Rounded digital skills, e.g. design, audio, or video editing.
- Experience with lead qualification tools or interactive conversion assets.
