Edenred PayTech is seeking a visionary Domain Head of Engineering to lead our Compliance, MIS, and Finance technology functions. This is a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of payments innovation, shaping a future-proof technology stack within a global leader in digital solutions.
As Domain Head of Engineering, you will drive the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) for your domain, champion strategic planning, guide architectural excellence, and spearhead delivery excellence. Reporting directly to the CTO, you will lead a skilled team of engineers and collaborate closely with Product, InfoSec, Platform, and Global Technology teams to deliver scalable, secure, and innovative solutions.
• Technical Leadership: Set the technology vision and roadmap in line with enterprise architecture and strategic goals.
• Team Management: Mentor and inspire a high-performing engineering team in a collaborative environment.
• Project Oversight: Ensure timely delivery of projects to high-quality standards.
• Architecture and Design: Influence architectural decisions to support scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Align with Product, Agile Delivery, Market Success, and external partners to meet business goals.
• Best Practices & Innovation: Champion development best practices, drive adoption of AI in SDLC, and explore emerging technologies.
• Performance & Reporting: Monitor delivery metrics and team performance while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Proven experience in a senior IT leadership role within a domain-driven tech organisation.
• Strong knowledge of software development best practices and AI-driven engineering approaches.
• Track record of strategic planning and execution within large-scale tech environments.
• Hands-on, pragmatic leader with strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communicator with the ability to inspire cross-functional teams.
• Ideally, a BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• A strategic thinker who thrives in complexity.
