Sales Engineer

Sales Engineer - DDoS & Threat Defense

Location: United Kingdom | Remote

About the Company

On behalf of our client, we're hiring a Sales Engineer to join one of the most compelling stories in the cybersecurity space right now - a well-funded, high-growth company specialising in DDoS and threat defense that has quietly built serious enterprise traction and established itself as a trusted name in the space.

With a strong foundation already in place and major enterprise clients already on board, they're now building out the commercial function to match the momentum. This is a hire born from success, not necessity - and with the backing, technology, and trajectory they have, the opportunity to make a lasting impact is real.

The Role

As Sales Engineer, you'll be the technical heartbeat of the sales process - translating a genuinely differentiated product into clear, compelling value for enterprise security buyers. You'll work closely with Account Executives across the full cycle, from first conversation through to close.

→ Own the technical win across the full sales cycle - discovery, demo, POC, and close

→ Deliver tailored product demonstrations to security, infrastructure, and executive stakeholders → Lead proof-of-concept engagements, ensuring prospects see measurable, real-world value

→ Handle RFPs, security questionnaires, and technical due diligence with confidence

→ Feed product and engineering teams with sharp, on-the-ground customer insights

→ Partner with Customer Success to ensure a seamless handoff post-sale

Who You Are

→ 3+ years in a Sales Engineering, Pre-Sales, or Solutions Architect role within cybersecurity

→ Hands-on technical background with the ability to engage security teams at depth

→ Comfortable translating complex technical concepts for both practitioner and executive audiences

→ Experience in or around network security, DDoS mitigation, or threat defense is a strong plus → At ease in a fast-moving, high-growth environment - self-directed and outcomes-focused

→ Based in the UK with the right to work - fully remote

Why This Role

The product genuinely turns heads in a demo. The client base is already impressive. The funding is in place. And the channel motion is just getting started - meaning the SE who joins now will have a real hand in shaping how the business scales. If that kind of ground-floor opportunity appeals, this is worth a conversation.

Apply below - if your profile is a strong match, someone from our team will be in touch.
