Account Manager – Cyber Security Solutions
On behalf of a fast‐growing Cyber Security Solutions provider that helps organisations protect their digital assets and stay ahead of evolving threats, we are seeking a proactive and relationship‐driven Account Manager to nurture and grow a portfolio of mid‐market and enterprise clients.
This role blends strategic account development with targeted new business activity, ensuring long‐term client success while expanding our footprint across key sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth across a portfolio of inherited accounts through proactive engagement and strategic account planning
- Build strong, in‐person relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction, retention, and expansion
- Identify upsell and cross‐sell opportunities by understanding client challenges and aligning relevant cyber security solutions
- Conduct regular client meetings, QBRs, and on‐site visits to strengthen partnerships
- Collaborate closely with technical and delivery teams to ensure solutions are tailored to client needs
- Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and account documentation
- Support new business development by identifying and pursuing opportunities within both existing and net‐new accounts
- Represent the company at industry events, client meetings, webinars, and networking forums
Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience in account management or hybrid account management/business development, ideally within Cyber Security, IT Services, or SaaS
- Strong understanding of cyber security challenges and solution landscapes
- Exceptional relationship‐building, communication, and consultative selling skills
- Comfortable meeting clients face‐to‐face and developing long‐term partnerships
- Self‐motivated, commercially minded, and able to manage multiple accounts effectively
- UK‐based with the right to work in the UK
- Able to travel to Oxford for monthly office meetings and to client sites as required
