Data Analyst – Operations

Salary £55,000

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Data Analyst to join a dynamic, operationally focused business in a highly visible role supporting performance, planning, and strategic decision-making.

This position sits at the heart of the operation, providing critical insight to senior stakeholders and driving improvements across systems, processes, and overall efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the subject matter expert for a core operations system
• Develop and deliver accurate KPIs, dashboards, and performance reporting
• Analyse operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
• Support forecasting and resource planning activities
• Conduct root cause analysis to improve operational performance
• Engage with stakeholders across the business, including senior leadership

Requirements

• Proven experience (3+ years) in a Data Analyst, Operations Analyst, or Business Analyst role
• Strong analytical capability, including SQL and advanced Excel
• Ability to interpret complex data and deliver clear, actionable insights
• Confident communicator with experience engaging senior stakeholders
• Experience within operations-led environments (e.g. aviation, logistics, transport)
• Exposure to forecasting, planning, or scheduling
• Knowledge of Python or similar tools
