Service Project Manager Location: London Heathrow Working Format: Hybrid working 3 office and 2 home Salary: Up to £50,000pa Benefits: 28 days of annual leave (excluding bank holidays), Bupa medical cover, competitive pension plan Contract Type: Permanent Our client: Our client is a global leader in automated material handling systems and they are looking for a Service Project Manager to play a pivotal role in delivering critical service projects within the Heathrow Airport Baggage environment. About the Role As a Service Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading small-scale retrofit, modification, and revision projects from initial scope through to final handover. Working within a fast-paced and multidisciplinary environment, you’ll liaise with both internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions across the full asset lifecycle: Design, Build, Operate, Maintain, and IT. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage service projects from proposal to completion at Heathrow Airport
• Scope and estimate project costs, prepare quotations, and develop detailed specifications
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (Engineering, Sales, R&D, IT, Supply Chain) to ensure timely delivery
• Maintain strong communication with clients, subcontractors, and partners
• Monitor budgets, timelines, and quality standards
• Act as the primary point of contact for project-related operational and technical issues
• Ensure all activities comply with health and safety standards
• Deliver post-project documentation and support service handovers

 What You’ll Bring:

• Experience or internship in project management or a related field
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and coordination skills
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple small projects simultaneously
• Commercial awareness and planning capability
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Familiarity with automated handling systems is a plus, but not required
