Were partnered with a fast-scaling FinTech platform at the intersection of regulation, data, and real-time intelligence - trusted by the worlds leading financial institutions. The platform is expanding into new product lines and markets, and theyre now hiring a VP of Engineering to lead this next chapter of growth.

This is a high-impact leadership role where engineering is deeply connected to business strategy, domain complexity, and precision execution.

The Opportunity:

As VP of Engineering, youll shape and scale a world-class engineering org, strengthen architectural direction, and help the company evolve its platform into a robust, cloud-native, multi-product offering.

What Youll Do:

• Own and evolve the engineering function structure, hiring, delivery, and performance
• Drive architectural direction, with a strong focus on cloud-native SaaS infrastructure
• Lead end-to-end delivery in a technically demanding and regulated environment
• Foster a culture of engineering excellence, cross-functional collaboration, and high accountability
• Partner closely with Product and Regulatory experts to align strategy and execution
• Uplevel observability, DevOps, and data pipeline maturity
• Languages: Python, Scala, Clojure
• Tooling: Strong focus on observability, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code

What We're Looking For:

• 10+ years of engineering experience, including 35+ in engineering leadership
• Proven experience in scaling cloud-native architecture (AWS) in SaaS environments
• Track record of leading and mentoring high-performing engineering teams
• Hands-on enough to dive deep, but seasoned enough to coach EMs and set strategic direction
• Comfortable in regulated, high-trust environments with complex business domains
• Clear communicator who thrives in fast-paced, intellectually demanding teams

Bonus

• Experience with functional programming (e.g. Scala or Clojure)
• Prior exposure to compliance, legal tech, or financial regulation domains
• Experience leading engineering through Series A to D scale-up phases
