Junior Quality Assurance Technician

DB Charles Recruitment are working on a new brilliant opportunity with an exciting business based in Lincoln for a Junior Quality Assurance Technician on a permanent hybrid basis.

The business have a well known name and reputation within the Private Healthcare industry and they hope to attract a candidate enthused by the prospect of joining their team and furthering their careers.

The main focus of this role, will be to ensure the business and team deliver reliable, well tested and high quality software, whilst developing there own skills amongst colleagues in the team. Main day to day duties will be:

• Learning & understanding the various software & apps
• Testing and recording of defects and issues
• Producing and managing test data
• Escalation of major incidents
• Producing documentation
• Liaising with other internal team departments
• Plus many others

Candidates considered for the role will be required to have a number of the below skill-sets and experiences:

• Ideally an understanding of coding and programming languages, whether through education such as a computer science degree or from personal / professional experience
• Strong MS Office skills including with SharePoint & Teams
• Any experience and knowledge of either SQL, Azure DevOps or Visual Studio would be highly advantageous
• Comfortable using AI tools such as Copilot and ChatGPT
• Fantastic attention to detail
• Team player
• Good communication skills
• Happy to commit to a role based in Lincoln with hybrid working on offer. You will be required to be in the office 2 days per week.

The client is working with DB Charles Recruitment to successfully recruit the right candidate and are looking to pay a salary of £27,110 per annum with working hours of Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:15pm and other additional benefits on offer with the role will include:
