• Support the development of safety requirements and safety cases for safety-critical systems.
• Contribute to safety architectures and hazard mitigation strategies.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with safety standards such as DO-178C, DO-254, ISO 26262, and IEC 61508.
• Work closely with systems, software, hardware and ML teams to embed safety considerations throughout development.
• Support safety reviews, internal audits, and certification activities.
• Contribute to improving safety processes, tools and documentation as the company grows.
Candidate Profile
• Degree in Systems Engineering, Safety Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience working on safety-critical systems in industries such as aerospace, robotics, automotive, defence, or advanced mobility.
• Practical experience performing safety analysis techniques such as FHA, FTA, HAZOP or FMEA/FMECA.
• Familiarity with safety standards including DO-178C, DO-254, ISO 26262 or IEC 61508.
• Understanding of safety considerations in autonomous or AI-enabled systems is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced engineering environment.
