Cabling Engineer with EL1 MOJ security clearance

DCS Recruitment currently seek an experienced data cabling engineer within an hour of Winchester on behalf of a national communications contractor.

Starts available throughout November and December 2025

This project is expected to run for the next 4 months.

Must have experience in data cable and device installation within industrial and secure public sector environments. This project will involve all aspects of data cabling installation and fibre cabling runs.

The successful candidates will:

• Hold a valid ECS card - industry related accreditation is preferred e.g. datacoms specialist, network infrastructure, digital network engineer, cabling installer
• Hold following certification (or be willing to sit): manual handling, working at height, asbestos awareness - WE CAN PROVIDE A LINK TO COMPLETE THESE FOR FREE
• Have their own hand/termination and power tools for structured cabling scopes
• Be able to provide proof of right to work ID eg passport
• Hold valid ENHANCED LEVEL 1 (EL1) security clearance for working as part of MOJ projects

You will be asked to provide two relevant work references prior to submitting you for induction.
