SAC Planning Lead Consultant (Contract)
We are recruiting an experienced SAC Planning Lead Consultant to support a large-scale enterprise planning and reporting transformation programme. This is a hands-on delivery role for a consultant with deep expertise in SAP Analytics Cloud Planning and SAP Datasphere, working across complex financial planning use cases.
The Role
You will lead the design and implementation of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning solutions, building integrated planning models and advanced simulations to support finance and business stakeholders. The role involves close collaboration with finance teams, data architects and senior stakeholders to deliver robust, scalable planning solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and delivering SAC Planning models (P&L, workforce, project and depreciation planning)
- Building scenario modelling, what-if analysis and value driver frameworks
- Integrating SAC with SAP Datasphere for real-time data connectivity and harmonisation
- Working with S/4HANA Finance and other enterprise data sources
- Implementing best practices for data actions, advanced formulas, version management and governance
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud Planning
- Proven delivery experience with SAP Datasphere (formerly DWC)
- Background in financial planning, FP&A or enterprise planning
- Experience delivering planning solutions in a consulting or transformation environment
- Strong stakeholder engagement and requirements translation skills
Desirable
- Experience in financial services, asset management or BFSI
- Exposure to S/4HANA Finance integrations
- SAP certifications (SAC Planning or Datasphere)
